Power on the instrument
Before turning on the instrument, make sure you have correctly connected all the devices to
the EVM sound module, according to the instructions in the paragraphs Connection Modes
for Device Control and Audio/Video Outputs and Inputs. Once all the connections are
completed, including the power supply to the DC 9V socket on the rear panel of the EVM
sound module, you can start the device:
1. Make sure the MASTER volume slider is set to the minimum position.
2. Press the POWER button. You can find it on the front of the EVM sound module,
on the far left: the button lights up.
3. During the operating system startup phase, the MIDI and POWER LEDs flash
intermittently. Midway through the boot process, the LED of the selected mode
starts to flash.
4. When all the LEDs stop flashing and the Home page appears, you are ready to
begin.
Power off the instrument
If needed, save any resources (accompaniment styles, voices, registrations etc) that you have
edited.
