An Introduction to EVM
Congratulations on purchasing the new KETRON EVM. Now you can access outstanding
sound quality to deliver your best and most authentic performance yet. This user manual
explains each function of this instrument in detail. Please read it carefully, at least the parts
that interest you the most, to get the best performance from EVM in live sessions, recording
studios, or in any other context you want to use this musical instrument.
KETRON EVM is a compact and lightweight sound module, ideal for being carried anywhere
and used in a wide range of musical situations. The control commands are accessible via an
external display that can be connected via HDMI. Alternatively, for those who wish to
manage the module from a tablet or PC, there is no need to install proprietary software: any
VNC (Virtual Network Computing) client, easily downloadable from the web, will suffice. It is
also possible to use the Wi-Fi network or an Ethernet cable. If you want, you can also
connect a USB mouse. From an instrumental point of view, any device with MIDI ports can be
used to control EVM: master keyboards, digital pianos, electronic organs, accordions, and
even guitars equipped with Audio-to-MIDI devices.
