– Mount the washer and water pump wheel.
– Mount and tighten screw .

21.20Installing the gear position sensor

– Mount the contact springs and contact bolt .
The contact bolts are mounted with the flat side forward; the rounded sides
face the sensor.

– Mount gear position sensor  with the O-ring. Mount and tighten the screws.

– Heat the drive wheel of the balancer shaft.
Guideline
200 °C (392 °F)
– Ensure that the spring washer is seated properly. Mount the drive wheel of the bal-
ancer shaft with the beveled edge facing forward.
