Step 2.  Align the rear backplane with the rear hot-swap drive cage and lower it into the rear hot-swap drive 
cage.

Step 3.  Connect the cables to the backplane. See Chapter 6 “Internal cable routing” on page 217.If the 
cable connectors come with protective dust caps, make sure to remove them before plugging in.
Step 4.  Install the air baffle into the rear hot-swap drive cage as shown.

Align the air baffle edge with the notch on the drive cage.
b. 
Press the air baffle down and make sure that it is seated in place.
Step 5.  Connect the cables to the system board or expansion slots. See 
Chapter 6 “Internal cable routing” 
on page 217

1.  Reinstall drives or drive fillers into the rear hot-swap drive cage. See 
“Install a 2.5-inch hot-swap drive”
