Procedure
Step 1. If the security bezel is installed, remove it first. See
“Remove the security bezel” on page 237.
Step 2. Slide the release latch to unlock the drive handle.

Step 3. Grasp the handle and slide the drive out of the drive bay.

After you finish
1. Install a new drive or drive filler to cover the drive bay. See “Install a hot-swap drive” on page 83.
2. If you are instructed to return the component or optional device, follow all packaging instructions, and
use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
