Fitting of new brake pads
When the brake pad linings have worn to

mm, the pads should be replaced. Always

Unscrew and remove the

mm spanners. Take care that the dust

covers are not damaged.
After removal
of retaining screws, the hydraulic hoi~sin~ can rodially be removed and
ppds pulled out. Support the calipers in such a woy to relieve any strain on the brake
hose. Before fitting new pads, clean the area where the new pods are to be seated
but take care

covers. Enst~re that the dust

covers and retain

ing rings are in good condition and fitted securel

. While pushing primary and

secondary bolts bacc'into position, check for easy movement and release trapped air
fram the dust

covers by lifting edge.
If the primary and secondary bolts prove difficult to move, completely remove
together with the dust

covers. Clean all parts with GlRLlNG cleaning fluid or
