The recommended methods for removing paint are as follows:

REMOVE

Open the bonnet and unscrew the support strut from the borinet, taking
care that the shock

roof washer under each screw
is
riot misplaced.
2.
With the
aid
of an assistant, release the bolts securing the bonnet to
the hinge bracket, and remove the bonnet.
