To Remove
-
1.
Drain the cooling system as previously described.
2.
Release the hose clips and remove all the hoses from the header tank.
3.
Remove the nuts securing the tank and remove the tank.
To Replace
1. Reverse the removal procedure.

The coolin

system for the model S2 when fitted with air conditioning has a radiator of
different design with two fans and a 'Fan Failure' indication system.
Should a fault occur in the fan circuit the fan failure relay will de
- energise and light
the FAN FAILURE lamp on the instrument panel. This lamp will also give an indication
that the Otto
thennostat has actuated by pulsing momentarily, showing that the circuit is
functioning correctly.
Radiator Removal from Vehicles with Air Conditioning
NOTE
When removing the radiator only it is not necessary to disconnect the
pressurised hoses from the condenser.

Release the clips securing the hoses and disconnect from the mdiotar.
Disconnect electrical connections to fans.
3.
Remove spare wheel to gain access to radiator and condenser top fixing
bolts. Remwe the bolts.
4.
Remove screws from under he, front of vehicle supporting the, front end
of the air duct.
5.
Lwmn the hrw bolts mch side of the air duct assembly, before, finaliy
removing the bolts.

6.
Withdrbw the whole ~sr~embl~ dfld pldte carefully on a chn svdaee.
