2.
Pipes, flexible end connections and components, MUST be capped immedi

ately they ore opened to prevent the ingress of moisture and/or dirt.
3.
All replacement components ond flexible end connections ore sealed when
new,
and should only be opened IMMEDIATELY
PRIOR
TO
FITTING,
AND
AT
ROOM
TEMPERATURE, to prevent condensotion of any moisture which
moy enter when the seoling
is
removed.

'The receiver
-
drier should be the LAST component to be connected, this
is
to
ENSURE optimum deh
y
dration ond rmximum moisture protection of the
system.
5.
Precautions MUST be taken to prevent damage to fittings and connections;
minute damage could cause a leak due to the
high
pressures used in the
system. ALWAYS USE TWO SPANNERS
OF
THE CORRECT
SIZE
(one on
each union nut), when releasing or tightening pipes, or connections. This
is
porticulariy important with the pipes on the condenser as this unit
is
con
-
structed from aluminium and copper.
6.
All joints should be coated with refrigeration oil
BEFORE
making any
connections, as this will aid seating.
7.
All pipes and hoses MUST
BE
FREE
from any kinking. The efficiency of the
system con be impaired by a single kink, or restriction. Flexible hoses
should not be bent too radius which
is
less thon ten times the diameter of
i
C4
the hose.
CONTROLS OPERATION
The air conditioning

the compressor on and off.
When the compressor
is
running the red tight at top left hand side of the temperature control
switch, will light. The upper lever on the right hand instrument panel controls the air
distribution, ond the lower lever controls the air temperature.
The FAN switch increases the air flow to slow speed when the switch
