Fully close the mixture screws

then 'back off' TWO FULL TURNS.

Start the engine and allow to reach its normal operating temperature.

Remove the top cover and the air cleaner. Using a 'Crypton Synchrocheck'
(or similar instrument), adiust the throttles synchronisation, and the idle
speed to that given in TECHNICAL DATA. If the engine now runs irregularly,
adjust the mixture screws

in coniunction with a
CO
meter, to obtain
regular tunning on all barrels. Turnin
g
the screw inwards WEAKENS the
mixture, whereas
turning the screw outwards RICHENS the mixture.
