LB 9507 Chapter 10: Kinetic Measurements
10-7
If you have selected 2 injectors, you have to define the sequence
of the injections here: injector 1 first and then injector 2 or vice
versa. Make your selection by pressing the button below the
option you want. The following display appears:
K9
06: DELAY TIME INJ1/INJ2 1.2
(1.2 - 300.0) LAST DISPLAY
Enter the desired delay in seconds (1.2 to 300 sec) between both
injections and confirm with <enter>.
Only if you have selected one or two injectors the following display
appears:
K10
06: MEASURE BACKGROUND NO
YES NO LAST DISPLAY
Select here if the background rate is to be measured prior to the
injections and the actual measurement of each tube.
If you select <NO>, display K12.
<YES> takes you to the next display:
K11
06: MEASURING TIME BKG [s] 0.5
(0.1 - 200.0) LAST DISPLAY
Enter between 0.1 and 200.0 seconds for the background
measurement and press <enter>. Reasonable times start at half
a second, allowing statistical variations to be compensated for.
Otherwise, the background values may be too high or too low
which either distorts the result of the measurement or leads to an
exceeding of the threshold.
Remember that the background effect is measured in order to
obtain an alarm threshold for background rates that are too high,
as with phosphorescence effects for example.
