8. Install the inspection plug that was removed in Step 6, page 138.
CAUTION
Never start or move the machine until you are sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
9. Start the engine, and raise the header fully.
10. Shut down the engine, and remove the key.
11. Close the lift cylinder lock-out valves on both sides of the mower. Valve handles should be in the closed
position (90 degree angle to the hose). Refer to 11.2 Engaging Locks, page 204.
12. Remove the inspection plug, and add some oil. Loosely install the inspection plug.
13. Open the lift cylinder lock-out valves on both sides of the mower. Valve handles should be in the open position
(parallel to the hose). Refer to 11.3 Disengaging Locks, page 205.
14. Lower the header on to the blocks. Repeat Step 5, page 138.
15. Repeat Step 6, page 138.

16. Check O-ring (B) for breaks or cracks, and replace if
necessary.
17. Install plug (A) and O-ring (B). Tighten securely.
