• Do not remove the position pin (15) from the bracket (26) until the position pin (16) is fully
inserted into the hole of the fly-jib bracket A (21). Incorrect fitting order may cause a serious
hazard.
• The position pin (16) must always be inserted downward from the upper side. Otherwise,
where it is inserted upward from the underside, the position pin could easily drop down to
cause the Fly-jib to collapse and may cause a serious hazard.
When the position pins (15) and (16) are fitted in both holes of the bracket (26) on the right side
of the Main boom tip and Fly-jib bracket A (21), the Main boom telescoping must not be
operated. If operated it will critically damage the Fly-jib and Main boom.
12. Remove the lever block (23).
13. Pull the linchpin (25) out from the position pin (15) placed in the
bracket (26) hole on the right side of the Main boom tip, to pull
out the position pin (15).
• When you find it difficult to pull out the position (15), insert the
the attached bar into the hole (B) of the No.1 Fly-jib (2) from the
bottom side and rock it to left and right, or to front and back to
facilitate pulling the pin out. The attached bar (24) is stowed at
the right of the winch drum in the upper structure.
• Removed position pin (15) will be necessary for the later
operation to stow the No.1 Fly-jib (2) to the Fly-jib bracket B
(22).
The removed linchpin (25) of the position pin (15) shall be firmly
inserted in the hole for storage at the boom tip. When inserted,
ensure the ring is turned to lock it.
14. Push the No.1 Fly-jib (2) into the Fly-jib bracket B (22), then
insert the position pin (15) into the hole of the Fly-jib bracket B
(22). Use the linchpin (25) to secure the position pin.
The position pin (15) must always be inserted downward
from the upper side. When it is inserted upward from the
underside, the position pin could easily drop down to cause
the Fly-jib to drop and may cause a serious hazard.
Detach the linchpin (25) for the position pin (15) from the hole for
storage in the stowage bracket B (22) and apply to the position
pin (15).
