4.2.7 Expanding the measuring range
– Basis-zero point, base plate
– Use either a gage block or a predetermined workpiece that is
larger than 180 mm.
– The probe moves downwards and contacts the gage block or
workpiece.
– Loosen the clamping screw and turn the probe holder around
180°. Then tighten the clamping
screw back into position.
– The probe moves downwards and contacts the gage block or
workpiece.
