PROBLEM 10
The load drum will not lower the load, but will raise the load.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
The pawl in the control handle is worn, the minimum bail limit opened, the pump is
damaged.
CHECKS
When the applicable switch or handle is enabled are any of the following displayed:
Drum 1 minimum bail limit fault
Drum 2 minimum bail limit fault
Drum 3 minimum bail limit fault
Drum 1 pump control—lower, no increase in system pressure
Drum 2 pump control—lower, no increase in system pressure
Drum 3 pump control—lower, no increase in system pressure
Drum 3 pawl in fault
Does the drum Diagnostic screen show 100% handle
command with the handle moved forward?
Check for the problem. Repair the limit
switch, wiring, or circuit breaker.
Does the drum Diagnostic screen show 100%
pump control with the handle moved forward?
Are 28 volts present (full speed) at the pump EDC with the handle moved
back? (See Section 3 - Checking Electrical Inputs/Outputs.)
Replace the pump EDC or
replace the pump.
Repair or replace the wiring.
