Item Setting Details

(Time) 10 to 120 min - Sets the interval at which the print time is selected.
Type Normal/Soft/
Hard
- Sets the head cleaning type.
Cleaning Check ON/OFF - Sets whether nozzle checking is performed after auto head
cleaning is completed.
Interval Wiping 3 to 255 min/
OFF
- Sets up the duration for wiping operation performed during
printing.
• Use this setting if you observe any print defects (e.g., nozzle
clogging, deflection) or ink droplets.
UV mode ON/OFF/
NoPrint
ON Sets whether to turn on or off the UV-LED lamp.
• ON: Turns on the UV-LED lamp.
• OFF: Turns off the UV-LED lamp.
• NoPrint: Turns on the UV-LED lamp without printing. (Not used
under ordinary conditions)
UV AdjVal -50 to 0 to 50

You can change the preset UV lamp brightness.
(This is
supported in firmware version 2.8 and later.)
• Minus direction: Reduces hardness.
• Plus direction: Increases hardness.
* Check the print results for stickiness and odor.
MAPS4 - - MAPS: Mimaki Advanced Pass System
• This function disperses the boundaries between passes to make
feed streaks between passes less visible.
• Altering MAPS may alter the color. This function may be less
effective with certain types of images.
MAPS4 AUTO/
MANUAL/OFF
- This should normally be set to “AUTO”. When set to
“MANUAL”, the following items are displayed:
Smoothing
Level
0 to 100 % - Increasing smoothing makes streaks less visible.
• Make separate settings for color ink (color) and white ink (spot)
when using white ink.
Speed 50 to 100 % - Reducing speed makes streaks less visible. However, printing
will be slower.
(This is supported in firmware version 2.2 and later.)
Expansion ON/OFF - Selecting “ON” makes streaks less visible. However, it may
increase visible grain.
(This is supported in firmware version 2.2 and
later.)
Ionizer

ON/OFF - Sets the ionizer (optional). For more information, refer to the
operating manual for the ionizer.
LT Mode ON/OFF OFF Set if the machine needs more ink flexibility. This should be
used under certain conditions. "LT Mode"(P. 112)
* Check the print results for stickiness and odor.
Setup Reset - - Initializes the details set.
*1. The default settings are shown underlined.
*2. Settings applied if no settings can be made in the RIP software (host) or if this machine is prioritized.
*3. Setting to 100 % or more reduces the time required to complete printing but may affect print quality due to
insufficient drying time.
*4. Displayed when an option is connected.
