20.4.4 WLAN Setup
To set the properties of wireless network, follow this procedure:
1. Select [Main Menu]→[Maintenance>>]→[User Maintenance>>]→enter the required password→[Network
Setup >>]→[WLAN Setup >>].
2. Set [WLAN Band], [Aut. Server Type], [BG Channel] and [A Channel]
WLAN band can be set to: AUTO, 5G and 2.4G.
20.4.5 Viewing the MAC Address
You can get the MAC address from the monitor for network management.
To view the MAC address:
1. Select [Main Menu]→[Maintenance>>]→[User Maintenance>>]→enter the required password→select [Ok].
2. Select [Network Setup >>].
3. Select [Monitor Network Setup >>].
20.4.6 Enabling the Data Encryption
If you enable the data encryption, the patient’s MRN (Medical Record Number), visit number, first name and last name
are encrypted when transferring data to the CMS or eGateway.
To enable the data encryption:
1. Select [Main Menu]→[Maintenance>>]→[User Maintenance>>]→enter the required password→select [Ok].
2. Select [Network Setup >>].
3. Set [Network Encrypt Switch] to [On].
20.4.7 Setting DNS
You can set DNS for connectiong the server using domain name. Only ADT and MLDAP services support the domain
name method.
To set DNS:
1 Select [Main Menu]→[Maintenance>>]→[User Maintenance>>]→enter the required password→select [Ok].
2 Select [Network Setup >>].
3 Select [Monitor Network Setup >>]→[DNS Setup >>].
4 Set the desired [Address Type].
[Manual]: the address of the DNS server must be manually entered.
[DHCP]: the monitor will automatically acquire the address of the DNS server. This is only avaliable when
[Address Type] is set to [DHCP] in the [Monitor Network Setup >>] menu.
5. If [Manual] was selected in Step 4, set [Preferred DNS Server] and [Alternate DNS Server].
