Rotating the Image
The system supports the following rotation modes:
z Axial rotation
z Auto rotation
Axial rotation
Axial rotation is to rotate the currently activated image around the X, Y or Z axis.
z Procedures
a) Select the current image.
b) Rotate the corresponding knobs to make the image rotate, here,
h To rotate along X-axis: rotate <M> button on the control panel clockwise, the
image rotates right along the X-axis, and rotate the button anticlockwise, the
image rotates left.
h To rotate along Y-axis: rotate <PW> button on the control panel clockwise,
the image rotates right along the Y-axis, and rotate the button anticlockwise,
the image rotates left.
h To rotate along Z-axis: rotate <Color> button on the control panel clockwise,
the image rotates right along the Z-axis, and rotate the button anticlockwise,
the image rotates left.
Auto rotation
(1) In 3D viewing mode, click [Rot.] on the soft menu, system enters into auto
rotation preparation state.
(2) Click [Direct] to set the auto rotation direction.
(3) Set Start position and End position:
Start position: roll the trackball to view to a certain position, click [Set Start] to set
the start position.
End position: roll the trackball to view to a certain position, click [Set End] to set
the end position.
(4) Set repeat mode: click [Repeat Mode] as “SE/SE” for single direction rotation,
and click [Repeat Mode] as “SE/ES” for bidirectional rotation.
(5) Click [Speed] to set the rotate speed.
(6) Click [Step] to set the rotate step.
(7) Click [Auto Rot.] as “Start” to activate rotation.
NOTE: You can view the back of the 3D image by rotating it 180°, but the back view
image may not as vivid as the front. (Here we call the initial view of the 3D
image you see as “front”). It’s recommended to re-capture than to rotate the 3D
image remarkably if a certain region desired is blocked in the 3D image.
Image Zooming
To adjust the zoom factor of 3D image; the sectional images will be zoomed in/out
accordingly.
Operation
Set 3D image window as current window and rotate the <Zoom> knob to increase or
decrease the magnification factor.
Image relationship
z In “Adjust VOI” status, both the VOI box size and position are fixed. In “Accept
VOI” status, roll the trackball, the sectional planes are shifted along with it.
