Entering a read command
⇒ Enter the read command using the defined structure.
C<command number>[<ws>]<LF>
The following message is the response:
Q<command number><ws><parameter><CR><LF>
In this case, <parameter> is the active parameter selected from the
parameter list by the corresponding write / action command.
Possible faults
Error message: “ERROR - CMD not beginning with “C””
The command was not entered correctly, e.g. “c30 1” instead of “C30 1”.
⇒ Be sure to enter upper and lower case letters correctly.
Error message: “ERROR - no command number”
The command was not entered correctly. There is a space between the C
and the command number, e.g. “C 30 1” instead of “C30 1”.
⇒ Correct the command entry.
Error message: “Q<command number>FAILED-command number out
of range”
The command number is incorrect or the command was not entered
correctly (e.g. “C301” instead of “C30 1“) or the command number is outside
the defined range.
⇒ Correct the command entry.
Error message: “Q<n> FAILED - illegal sub fct nr”
The command was not entered correctly.
⇒ Correct the command entry.
Error message: “Q<n> FAILED - arg out of range”
Some arguments are outside the allowed range.
