The Arranger timeline showing that the single Scene Scene 1 is looped.
You have following actions at your disposal:
â–º
Drag the Loop Range’s highlighted region horizontally to move the whole Loop Range.
â–º
Drag the left or right border of the Loop Range horizontally to move the Loop Range’s
start or end point, respectively. This modifies the length of the Loop Range.
Your adjustments are quantized according to the Pattern Grid. If the Pattern Grid resolution is
set to Quick mode, the quantization will use bars instead. If the Pattern Grid is disabled (i.e.
set to Off) you can freely adjust the Loop Range at the maximum resolution.
For more information on the Pattern Grid, see section ↑7.1.6, Adjusting the Pattern Grid
and the Pattern Length.
Manual Loop Range Adjustments and Playback Position
Manual adjustments of the Loop Range can also affect the playhead position:
â–ª If the playhead is within the Loop Range it will stay within it no matter how the Loop
Range is moved or resized:
◦ As you move the Loop Range’s start point (or the whole Loop Range) to the right in
the Arranger, if the start point reaches the playhead position the playhead will follow
the start point to the right as long as necessary in order to stay within the Loop Range.
◦ As you move the Loop Range’s end point (or the whole Loop Range) to the left in the
Arranger, if the end point reaches the playhead position, the playhead will jump to the
Loop Range’s start point.
â–ª If the playhead was outside the Loop Range and gets into the Loop Range (because of the
normal playback, a change in the Loop Range or any other reason), the above applies.
