SIP Trunk Basic Setup
10-40-01 SIP Trunk Availability – SIP Trunk Availability
Enable (1)/Disable (0) SIP trunking.
(Default: 0)
10-28-01 SIP System Information Setup – Domain Name
Define the Domain name. This information is generally provided by the SIP carrier. Entries: 64
characters maximum.
(Default: None)
10-28-02 SIP System Information Setup – Host Name
Define the Host name. This information is generally provided by the SIP carrier. Entries: 48
characters maximum.
(Default: None)
10-28-03 SIP System Information Setup – Transport Protocol
Define the Transport type. This option is always set to UDP.
Entries: 0 = UDP, 1 = TCP
(Default: 0)
10-28-04 SIP System Information Setup – User ID
Define the User ID. Entries: 32 characters maximum.
(Default = No Entry)
10-28-05 SIP System Information Setup – Domain Assignment
Define the Domain Assignment. This entry is determined by what information the SIP carrier
provides. If the SIP carrier provides a server name: SIPconnect-sca@L0.cbeyond.net, then
the domain would be: L0.cbeyond.net and the host name would be SIPconnect-sca.
Entries: 0 = IP Address, 1 = Domain name
(Default: 0)
10-29-14 SIP Server Information Setup – SIP Carrier Choice
Define the SIP Carrier Choice. This should currently stay at an entry of 0 (Default).
Entries: 0 = Default, 1 = Carrier A, 2 = Carrier B, 3 = Carrier C, 4 = Carrier D, 5 = Carrier E, 6 =
Carrier F, 7 = Carrier G.
(Default: 0)
14-12-01 SIP Register ID Setup for IP Trunk – Register ID
Set the IP trunk ID in a networked system. This data is referred to for incoming and outgoing IP
trunks. Incoming calls are received on the trunk port of the same ID as the trunk ID of the
outgoing call in the networked system (Entries: 0~65535, Default: 0 = ID not notify).
For example, trunk 5 in Site A is programmed with ID 2. Trunk 7 in Site B is programmed with ID
2. An outgoing call from Site A on trunk 5 is received on trunk 7 is Site B since the ID number is
a match. Entries: 0 = not notified, 1~65535
(Default: 0)
22-02-01 Incoming Call Trunk Setup
Define the SIP trunks as type 3 (DID). In addition to the SIP trunk programming, refer to the
Direct Inward Dialing (DID) feature in the Electra Elite IPK II Features and Specifications Manual
and the Electra Elite IPK II Programming Manual for detailed information.
