Configure the Library: Login with the Default Admin
The initial library configuration requires you to login with a default admin account.
The default password is only temporary and used for logging in following the initial
power-up of the library. The customer will change the password during the initial
configuration to eliminate any security risks.
1. After powering on the library for the first time, tap Start.
2. Log in as the default
admin
user.
3. Tap the keyboard button .
4. Enter the default password:
passw0rd
. This password is temporary and will be
changed in the next configuration step.
5. Tap Done.
6. Tap Log In.
Configure the Library Step 1 of 6: Change the Default Administrator
Password
Change the default admin password for security.
The customer should change the default admin password.
1. Tap the keyboard button .
2. Have the customer enter a new administrator password.
Note:
The password must be at least eight characters long and contain one or
more numeric or special characters. The value
passw0rd
is invalid.
3. Tap Next.
4. Enter the new password again in the Verify New Password field.
Make sure to remember the default user ID (admin) and your new password.
5. Tap Done.
Note:
The six large dots in the password fields do not represent the actual
number of characters you entered for the password.
