Remove the Service Processor Card
The service processor card is a cold-service component that can be replaced by a customer.
Caution - This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic
discharge. This discharge can cause failure of server components.
1.
Back up the SP configuration information before removing the service processor
card.
At the Oracle ILOM prompt, type:
-> cd /SP/config
-> dump -destination uri target
where:

The acceptable values for uri are:
■
tftp
■
ftp
■
sftp
■
scp
■
http
■
https
■
target is the remote location where you want to store the configuration
information.
For example:
-> dump -destination tftp://129.99.99.99/pathname
