14 HEATER DAUGHTER BOARD
This section describes the heater daughter-board.
14.1 Overview of the heater board
The heater board contains a single heater output. A heater board must be associated
with a temperature sensor board.
14.2 Installing a heater board
14.2.1 Fitting the board
A heater board must be fitted in the correct slot so that it is connected to its associated
temperature sensor board (see Table 4-5).
1 Turn off electrical power to the iTC.
2 Remove the electrical power connector from the back of the unit.
3 Remove the screws that secure the lid of the iTC. There are 6 screws on either side
panel of the iTC and 3 screws on the rear panel.
4 Lift off the lid.
5 Remove the two screws that secure the board-clamp. Remove the board clamp.

6 Remove the screw that secures the blanking panel in the location where the board
is to be fitted. Keep the screw.
