3.2.1.4 Soft keypads
Certain fields in the GUI require the user to enter alpha-numeric characters. Tap the field
to display a keypad.
There are two types of keypad that may be displayed. If a field requires numeric data
only, a numeric keypad is displayed (see Figure 3-5).

The keypad has a field in the top-right corner that displays the number that been entered
so far.
This keypad contains the following keys:
Ten single-digit keys and a decimal-point key.
Del
This button either deletes the character to the left of the cursor, or any highlighted
characters. To delete the last character that has been entered, tap Del once.
To delete a single character within the text:
a) Tap anywhere within the entered text to position the cursor.
b) Tap Del to delete the character to the left of the cursor.
To delete several characters within the text:
a) Touch individual characters, or strings of characters, to highlight them.
b) Tap Del to delete the highlighted characters.
Ret
Tap to save the number that has been entered.
Quit
Tap to close the keypad without saving the number that has been entered.
