F Troubleshooting
1 Di agnosis of the Cedex HiRes Analyzer
For technical support purposes, the user is able to run a diagnosis of the Cedex HiRes Analyzer at the request
of an authorized service technician. The diagnosis of the System provides a fi le containing information about
the System software and hardware. It contains a system description, hardware and software descriptions (i.e.
product name, version), parameters and settings (i.e. focus position, white/black balance).
To create the diagnosis fi le, follow the instructions below:

Click on the Setup menu on the Cedex Control Center.

Click on Diagnosis and the Diagnosis window will appear.

The hardware to be included in the diagnosis can be selected by checking the appropriate boxes in the
Hardware to diagnose area or by checking the box beside Diagnose all hardware. The diagnosis of the
System software is also optional and can be selected by checking the box beside Diagnose system soft-
ware.

Click on Start Diagnosis to run the diagnosis of the Cedex HiRes Analyzer.

The diagnosis data can be saved by clicking on Save To File and printed by clicking on Print Data.
