3.2 Effective Data Sets
When measurements are reprocessed, it is possible to label one of the resultant data sets as Effective. The
Effective data set is the version of the measurement (original or reprocessed) that has the correct parameters.
Once a data set has been selected as Effective it will be labeled as such in the Measurement List window.
It is possible to later change which data set is labeled the Effective data set by doing the following:
1
Select the data set version of the measurement to be labeled Effective in the Measurement List window.
2
Click on the Reprocess button. A Measurement window will open containing the results for that data set.
3
Click on the box to the left of the word “Effective” in the Measurement window. A check will appear in the
box.
4
Close the Measurement window.
5
Click on Find in the Measurement List window to refresh the list; the newly selected data set will appear
as the Effective data set.
