5.4 Scheduling Settings
Access:
Select "Baseband > 5G NR > Scheduling".
This dialog displays an overview of distribution of the configured allocations in the
time domain.
Because the slot is the basis time unit in 5G NR and the basis granularity in the
numerologies, the 5G NR scheduling is performed on a per slot basis. In com-
parison, the LTE scheduling is subframe-based. However, the scheduling dialog
still shows the configuration of a complete subframe, as the subframe (besides the
frame) is the common time boundary between the different numerologies.
Scheduling table: Understanding the displayed information
The allocation table lists all BWPs of all users configured for the corresponding link
direction. Some of the allocations, in the BWPs or in the common group, are automati-
cally configured. You can add additional allocations in the user-specific groups.
Allocations belonging to the same user and BWP are grouped in "User x BWP x"
groups. Select the group name to unfold the PDSCH/CORESET or PUSCH/PUCCH
allocations. You find the non-user-specific allocations in the dedicated "Common"
group.
The allocations can be divided into two types: configurable allocations and read-only
allocations.
Configurable allocations
You can configure these allocations in the first 100 subframes. The configurable
allocations are always the first allocations in each BWP per user group.
To append or remove allocations of this type, set the number of allocations (No. of
Allocations) for the corresponding group.
