Saving a Still Image to a SD Card or USB Flash Drive
Here’s how a still image captured from the input/output video (p. 26) can be saved to a storage (SD card or USB ash drive).
* You can’t export still images that were created while HDCP (p. 18) was set to “ON”.
NOTE
¹ When using a SD card or USB ash drive for the rst time, you
must format it using the VR-6HD (p. 13).
¹ Never turn o the power or remove the SD card or USB ash drive
while the message “PROCESSING...” is shown.
¹ Depending on the SD card or USB ash drive, it may take some
time to be recognized.
¹ Still images are saved to the “Roland/VR-6HD/still” folder.
1. Insert the SD card into the SDXC card slot.
* When using a USB ash drive, connect the USB ash drive to the USB
HOST port.
2. [MENU] button

“STILL IMAGE”

select “SAVE TO
STORAGE”, and press the [VALUE] knob.
3. Touch the screen to select the still image to export.
A list of the still images on the storage media (in the still image folder)
is shown.
* You can use “TARGET STORAGE” onscreen to switch between the
storage media used for export.
4. Select “FILE NAME” and press the [VALUE] knob.
This brings up the software keyboard for input.
5. Input the backup le name.
* You can input up to 32 characters.
6. Touch <Enter> in software keyboard.
7. Select the le type
Use the [VALUE] knob to select “SAVE FORMAT”, and then
press the [VALUE] knob.
Use the [VALUE] knob to select “BITMAP”, “JPEG”, or “PNG”,
and press the [VALUE] knob.
8. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “SAVE”, and then press the
[VALUE] knob.
A conrmation message appears.
* If you decide to cancel, press the [EXIT] button.
9. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “OK”, and then press the
[VALUE] knob.
The still image is written to the storage.
The still image is saved to the “Roland/VR-6HD/still” (still image) folder
on the storage media.
10. Press the [MENU] button to close the menu.

Overwriting a still image
When you touch a lename for an existing still image on the screen
in step 5, the lename in the lename list is used. You can overwrite
the name.
