Usage Guide
Configure this command on a host that sends the RA message. Then, the host that receives the RA
message obtains stateless configurations through the DHCPv6 client.

Steps
 Configure the DHCPv6 client address request function on an interface.
Ruijie(config)# interface GigabitEthernet 0/1
Ruijie(config-if)# ipv6 dhcp client ia
Verification
 Run the show ipv6 dhcp interface command to display whether the interface is enabled with the
DHCPv6 client.
Ruijie#show ipv6 dhcp interface GigabitEthernet 0/1
GigabitEthernet 0/1 is in client mode

 Enabling the DHCPv6 Client Prefix Request

 Configure the DHCPv6 client prefix request function on an interface.

Ruijie(config-if)# ipv6 dhcp client pd pd_name

 Run the show ipv6 dhcp interface command to display whether the interface is enabled with the
DHCPv6 client.
