CUSTOM CHARACTERS AND GRAPHICS
CUSTOM DESIGNED CHARACTER EXAMPLE
The following example is presented to help understand the use of the Custom
Designed Characters command. It demonstrates the design and printing of an ìarrowî
in a 16 x 16 matrix.
1. Determine which matrix size to use
• 16 dot x 16 dots
• 24 dots by 24 dots
2. Lay out a grid and draw the image on the grid.
• Each square represents one dot
• Blacken squares for each printed dot
