"No" setting:
The cleaning request never appears on the
touch screen.

"Message with Ack." setting:
A message with an [OK] field appears on the
touch screen according to the time setting in
the "04 Cleaning request" parameter.
► Confirm the message by pressing [OK].
 The machine continues to be ready
for use. The cleaning message is re-
peated every minute.
Message with
acknowledge-
ment
The time setting for the
cleaning request is made
in the "4 Cleaning request"
parameter.
If a cleaning procedure
was performed up to one
hour before the set time,
no further cleaning request
is displayed.
"Mandatory" setting:
A message appears on the touch screen ac-
cording to the time setting in the "04 Cleaning
request" parameter.
The machine continues running another 2
hours after the set time. After this period,
cleaning starts automatically and the messa-
ge to remove the grounds container is dis-
played.
The machine remains ready for use during
these two hours. The cleaning message is
repeated every minute.
Mandatory If the "Mandatory" setting
is used, the machine only
detects a cleaning proce-
dure if it is performed wit-
hin the time window (E).
The cleaning procedure
that is performed during
this time window clears the
internal counter.
A) Machine is operating.
B) 4 h prior to the cleaning request
C) Cleaning request message.
D) Mandatory cleaning.
E) Time window for the internal counter.
"Message only" setting:
A message appears on the touch screen ac-
cording to the time setting in the "04 Cleaning
request" parameter.
The machine continues to be ready for use.
