Integrated Safety Technology
3.2.1 STO – Safe Torque Off
When the STO function is active, the drive inverter no longer supplies power to the
motor. As a result, the drive cannot generate torque. This safety function corresponds
to a non-controlled stop according to EN 60204-1, stop category 0.

The STO function does not monitor the stopping of the drive.
Controlled standstill is preferred, if possible.
