3.2.8 SAR – Safe Acceleration Range
The SAR function prevents the acceleration of the drive from exceeding a specified
range. If the permitted acceleration range is exceeded, the safety function will be dis-
abled and an error response will be triggered (usually STO or SS1).
3.2.9 SLS – Safely Limited Speed
The SLS function prevents the drive from exceeding a specified velocity. If the permitted
velocity is exceeded, the safety function will be disabled and an error response will be
triggered (usually STO or SS1).
