General information on startup
Startup
• GSDML file: GSDML_DFS21B/22B (for PROFINET).
• Use parameters P555/P556 to set the response of option DCS21B/22B to errors and
alarms to "DISPLAY FAULT" (see chapter "Parameter descriptions"). The set error
response will also be triggered in CONTROLLER INHIBIT inverter status.
• Set the parameters for option DCS21B/22B according to your application.
• Program your fail-safe control according to your application.
• Set the parameters for fieldbus connection via PROFIsafe (see chapter "Fieldbus
connection via PROFIsafe")
• Perform a validation (see chapter "Validation"). Create a configuration report (see
chapter "Creating a configuration report").
6.1.3 Startup steps for DCS31B/32B
• Make sure that
– the installation of the DCS31B/32B option,
– the cabling,
– the terminal assignment, and
– the emergency switch-off
have been configured correctly and are suited to the application.
• Provide for suitable measures to prevent the motor from starting up unintentionally.
Take additional safety measures depending on the application to prevent possible in-
juries and damage to machines.
• Switch on the line voltage and the DC 24 V supply voltage, if applicable.
• Start up the drive with MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX61B as described in the "MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX60B/61B" operating instructions.
• Use parameters P555/P556 to set the response of option DCS31B/32B to errors and
alarms to "DISPLAY FAULT" (see chapter "Parameter descriptions"). The set error
response will also be triggered in CONTROLLER INHIBIT inverter status.
• Program option DCS31B/32B according to your application.
• Perform a validation (see chapter "Validation"). Create a configuration report (see
chapter "Creating a configuration report").
