Reectorsize • Selectareectorsizethatallowstheentirelightspottohitthereector
even if there are vibrations.
• Ifthereectorisinstalledontoavehicle,asmallerreectorwilltypically
suce.
Requirements • Reectivesurfacesneartothereectormaycausebeamswitchingor
lightscatterandleadtoincorrectmeasurementsasaresult.Reective
surfacesinclude,forexample,storageproles,palletswithstretchwrap,
or rails.
• If the distance measuring device is mounted in the driving axis of a stor-
ageandretrievalsystem,tiltthereectortowardtheceilingawayfrom
the rail (approx. 1 to 3 degrees). →Seethegurebelow.
• If the distance measuring device is mounted in the lifting axis of a
storageandretrievalsystem,tiltthereectorawayfromthemastsystem
