Module 13 consists of three values:
• Temp/i1b
Input value to the master consisting of 1 byte with the “Temp” (tempera-
ture) designation
• Level/i2b
Input value to the master consisting of 2 bytes with the “Level” designa-
tion
• Hrs/i2b
Input value to the master consisting of 2 bytes with the “Hrs” (operating
hour counter) designation
Nomenclature • A byte is an 8-bit value.
• A word is a 16-bit value.
• Consistency means that all values within a module are updated simulta-
neously.
• An input value is transmitted cyclically from the device to the master
(PLC).
• An output value is transmitted cyclically from the master (PLC) to the
device.
• Acongurationvalueistransferredfromthemastertothedeviceevery
time the device is connected. For example, when switching on the
PROFINET IO device or the master or after the connection has been
interrupted.
