8.5.5 “SSI” menu
You can parameterize the “SSI” interface using this menu.
The “SSI” menu is accessed via the following menu path:
Main menu →
→ Menu → →Pron→ → SSI.
Press the
pushbutton to display the “Coding” parameter.
You can scroll within the menu using the
and pushbuttons.

Coding Select data format for the “SSI” interface.

Options
Gray code
• Gry24E: 24 bit measured value gray, 1 bit error binary
• Gry24: 24 bit measured value gray
• Gry25: 25 bit measured value gray
• G25DME: 24 bit measured value and 1 bit error, com-
pletely gray coded; compatible with Gray25 for DME3000,
DME4000 and DME5000
• G24+8: 24 bit measured value gray, 8 bit error/warnings/
status binary
Binary code
• Bin24E: 24 Bit measured value binary, 1 bit error binary
• Bin24: 24 bit measured value binary
• Bin25: 25 bit measured value binary
• B24+8: 24 Bit measured value binary, 8 bit error/warnings/
