13 Troubleshooting
Possible faults and corrective actions are described in the table below for
troubleshooting.
Inthecaseoffaultsthatcannotberectiedusingthedescriptionbelow,
please contact the manufacturer. See the back page for relevant contact
details.
General faults, warnings, and errors The distance measuring device can distinguish between general faults,
warnings, and errors. General faults are not indicated. In case of a warning,
the PWRLEDbeginsashingorange.Ameasuredvalueisoutput.Ifthere
is an error pending, the PWRLEDbeginsashingred.Themeasuredvalue
“0” is output.
13.1 LED status display

The light spot of the measuring device is not

Correct the alignment of the measuring
deviceorreector.
There is an obstacle in the light path. Remove the obstacle from the light path.
The distance between the distance measur-

• Reduce the distance between the dis-
tancemeasuringdeviceandreector.
• Select a distance measuring device with
a larger maximum scanning range.
The PWR LED does not light
up. The display lights up.
Measuring device defective. Return the device for repairs.
