Default value
• 0.1 mm
Free distance
resolution
Determines the resolution of the distance value on the PROF-
INET interface if the “free Distance Resolution [µm]” value has
been selected in the “Resolution” parameter.
Value range
• 1 ... 100,000 µm

10.3.6 Module 6: “Time/i4w, Distance/i2w”
Type Input module, 6 words, consistent
Description Thismodulereadsthecurrentdistancedependingontheosetandresolu-
tion settings. In addition, the module contains the time stamp for the time
at which the measured value was recorded.
Notes Iftherewasnovalidmeasuredvalueduetoadevicefault,amissingreec-
tor or contamination, then the value “0” is output for the distance and the
corresponding bits are set in the status bytes.
