5.3.17 Replacing the PT100 temperature sensor
To replace the PT100, the cell and the sender/receiver unit must be completely removed.
1 Disconnect the MCS200HW power supply.
1 Remove the cell (see Chapter “Removing the complete cell”, page 15).
2 Remove the sender/receiver unit and the sheet metal covers (see Chapter “Removing
the complete sender/receiver unit”, page 93).
3 Loosen the cable conduit fastening clip with a 2.5 Allen key.
4 Remove the PT100 from the heating garland:
1 Open the contact plug.
Carefully lever open the clamps of the contact plug with a slotted screwdriver
(3
pieces).

Loosen the screws of the fastening clip inside with a slotted screwdriver (2 pieces).
Tools required
Phillips screwdriver
2 mm Allen key
2.5 mm Allen key
