System Shut-down
1. Turn off the pump laser according to its user's manual.
2. Turn off the chiller.
To prevent condensation on the surface of the rod, do not run the
chiller when the laser is off.
3. Turn off the nitrogen supply at the tank, then close the regulator valve
on the Model 3910 purge unit.
Do not turn off the Model 3955 or the optional Model 3930 if you plan on
using the laser within the next week or so. The Model 3930 takes about 2
hours to warm up properly for stable 80 MHz operation.
This completes the system shut-down procedure.
