Functions of the parking brake when the
truckisatastandstill
Actuation by the driver
– Push the push button (1) to app
ly the
parking brake.
The parking brake is applied audibly and
the symbol (2) is shown on the display and
operating unit.
Actuation triggered automatically
Cause Effect
If the driver’s seat is
vacated or the foot
switch is released:
After 3 seconds,
the parking brake
is applied audibly
and the symbol (2) is
shown on the display
and operating unit.
If the truck is
switched off:
The parking brake is
applied immediately
and audibly. The
symbol (2) is shown
briefly on the display
and operating unit
until the control units
switch off.
If the emergency of

switch is actuated
or as a result of the
truck emergency o
ff
function:
The parking brake is
applied immediately
and audibly, and the
symbol (2) is shown
on the display and
operating unit.
