3.10 Internal compressed air system (not on D-23)
3.10.1 Position and function of the air compressor (M3)
The air compressor generates a supply of compressed air at about 7 bar
in the compressed air reservoir (PV1). If the pressure falls below approx.
6 bar, the compressor starts in order to refill the reservoir.
The air compressor supports the following functions:
− Door lock controller
− Blowing out the cooling coil (optional)
− Pilot valve controller (optional)
− Condensate drainage (Drain condense) from the sterilisation
chamber (DX and DE series only)
Compressor does not start!
If the compressor only starts at 1.5 – 2 bar and is very hot, then
the no-return valve R6 must be checked.
