Set the
trigger
coupling
7. Push the up and down arrow buttons to set COUPLING:
H DC passes both AC and DC components of the
input signal.
H AC passes only the AC components of an input
signal.
H HF REJ attenuates signals above 30 kHz.
H LF REJ attenuates signals below 80 kHz.
H NOISE REJECT provides lower sensitivity,
reducing the chance of falsely t riggering on noise.
Select the
trigger mode
8. Push the MODE button to toggle between NORM and
AUTO t rigger modes:
H NORM requires a valid trigger event to acquire a
waveform.
H AUTO acqui res a waveform even if no valid trigger
event occurs.
Be aware that in AUTO mode, the acquired waveforms
may not be triggered.
