5. Verify that the delayed trigger system operates:
a.
Set up the delayed trigger:
H From the Trig menu, select A--B Trigger Seq to open the Trigger
Setup control window. The window opens to the A→BSeqtab.
H Click Trig After Time under A Then B.
H Click in the B Trig Level text box on the far right of the control
window.
H Set the Trigger Mode to NORM.
b. Confirm that the following statements are true:
H The readout in B Trig Level changes as you turn the lower multipur-
pose knob.
H As you rotate the lower multipurpose knob, the square wave probe
compensation signal can become triggered and untriggered. (Leave
the signal triggered.)
c. Verify the delayed trigger counter:
H Click on the Trig Delay control text box to display the pop--up
keypad. Click the keypad icon to open the keypad.
H Click on the keypad to enter a trigger delay time of 1 second, an
click Enter.
H Verify that the TRIGGER TRIG’D indicator on the front panel
flashes about once every second as the waveform is updated on the
screen.
6. Remove the test hookup: Disconnect the cable from the channel input and
the probe compensation terminal.
