Zone Paging with BGM (Multiple Amplifiers)
Provides multiple-zone paging capability (same as “External Page Option Installation” on
Page 6-28) but separate amplifiers are used for each zone.
➤ To install zone and night ringing with multiple amplifiers
1. Connect from the Paging Amplifier to the 600 ohm output on the Base Unit. (see
Figure 6-19).
2. Connect the music source to the music amplifier input.
3. Connect the paging amplifier outputs to the PIOU(PG IN) Relays K1~K4 and to “C” of
zone 1 through zone 4 speakers.
4. Connect the music amplifier (+) output to terminal 23 (PG COMMON) of the PIOU,
and the (-) output to the “C” terminal of zone 1 through zone 4 speakers.
5. Connect zone 1 through zone 4 speakers “A” terminal to the PG OUT contact of the
PIOU relays K1~ K4, respectively.
