KSTU3 Wiring
Refer to DK40 Base KSU KSTU3 wiring in Figure 2-28 of this chapter.
The KSTU3 must be connected to Public Network provided off-premises stations (300 ohms
loop resistance max., including the telephone or other devices DC off hook resistance).
KSTU3 Programming
Program 03: Specify code 31 for KSTU3 slot.
Program 31: Configures all KSTU3 ports connected to voice mail (See Chapter 4 – DK40
Universal Slot PCB Wiring for voice mail installation).
Program 10-2: Not required for Background Music (BGM) connection.
Program 19: BGM connection to KSTU3 Port 11.
CAUTION!
The KSTU3 port numbers will depend if a TBSU is installed in the
base cabinet, and will also depend on the configuration of that TBSU
(See Table 2-5 for the possible KSTU3 default numbering allocation).
