Installing the Cooling Fan
To install the cooling fan, follow the steps below and refer to figure 4-39 and figure 4-40.
CAUTION: When you remove the cooling fan, wipe the grease off of the bottom of the
heat sink and top of the CPU. Apply new grease.
1. Apply new grease on the top of the chip covered by the heat sink on the system
board.
2. Seat the heat sink.
3. Apply new grease on the top of the CPU.
4. Seat the cooling fan.
5. Secure the cooling fan with four M2×10 screws.
6. Secure the fan cable with the tape.
7. Connect the battery cable to PJ202 on the system board.
