Motion Coordinator MC206
Trio Motion Technology
I/O Connector 1
Analog Input
The MC206 provides a single 0-10v, 10-Bit analog input as standard. The analog
input resolution is fixed and will return values 0..1023 to the system parameter
AIN0
. The input works “single ended” and is referenced to the IOGND pin along-
side the AIN. Power must be applied to the 24v I/O power input in order for the
analog input to function.
It is possible to add further analog inputs via the P325 CAN Analog modules. Each
P325 module provides a further 8 single ended +/- 10v inputs with a 12-Bit reso-
lution.
24v Input Channels
The MC206 has 8 dedicated 24v Input channels and 8 bi-directional 24v I/O chan-
nels built into the master unit. A further 256 inputs can be provided by the addi-
tion of CAN-16 I/O modules. The dedicated input channels are labelled channels
0..7.
Inputs 0 to 4 can be used as registration inputs for axes 0 to 4 for use with the
REGIST
command..
